1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Snapmeet, an online platform providing services for event publishing, browsing, registration, and brand promotion. By creating an account or using Snapmeet, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. Snapmeet reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time, with such amendments becoming effective immediately upon posting on the platform. Continued use of Snapmeet constitutes acceptance of any such changes.

2. Eligibility

Snapmeet is intended solely for individuals who are at least 18 years of age. By using Snapmeet, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that your use of the platform will comply with all applicable laws. Users engaging in illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized activities are strictly prohibited and may have their accounts suspended or terminated.

3. Account Registration and Security

To access certain features of Snapmeet, including event publication and registration, users must create an account. Users are required to provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and all activity conducted through your account is deemed to be performed by you. Snapmeet reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or provision of false or misleading information. All login credentials, including passwords, are encrypted using industry-standard security protocols. Snapmeet does not have access to view or retrieve user passwords. Only email addresses are visible to Snapmeet and may be used solely for event-related promotions and communications. Snapmeet does not share user data with any external parties for its benefit.

4. Event Publishing

Snapmeet allows users to publish events and make them publicly visible on the platform. To publish an event:

  • Platform Fee: ₹500 for events within India and $15 for events outside India.
  • Transaction Fee: 3% for Indian events and 5% for international events.

The platform fee supports Snapmeet's operations, growth, and technical maintenance. The transaction fee is a pass-through fee, used solely to transfer funds to the event organizer. Snapmeet does not derive revenue from transaction fees and is not responsible for the settlement of these amounts. All platform fees are strictly non-refundable, including if an event is deleted after publication.

5. Event Registration and Payments

When users register for paid events on Snapmeet:

All payments are processed securely through Razorpay.
Settlement Timeline: Transactions made by participants will be reflected in the organizer’s account within T+2 business days (excluding bank holidays) via Razorpay.

All payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Snapmeet does not store full payment credentials and acts only as a facilitator.

Refund Policy: Snapmeet does not handle refunds for event registrations. Any refund for canceled registrations must be processed exclusively through the event organizer. Snapmeet may provide attendees with the organizer's contact information, including email, to facilitate resolution. Snapmeet is not responsible for issuing or guaranteeing refunds, and any complaints will be addressed solely as a facilitation effort.

6. Brand Promotion and Subscriptions

Snapmeet provides subscription-based services for companies to promote their brands or products during live events. Subscriptions are billed monthly, and the revenue-sharing arrangement with event organizers is defined in accordance with Snapmeet's policies. Users engaging in brand promotion services must comply with all applicable guidelines and policies provided by Snapmeet.

7. User Responsibilities

Users are expected to act responsibly while using Snapmeet. Posting illegal, offensive, harmful, or copyrighted content is strictly prohibited. Users must not disrupt the platform, interfere with other users' access, or compromise the integrity or security of Snapmeet. Snapmeet reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these responsibilities, without prior notice.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, trademarks, and proprietary materials on Snapmeet are the property of Snapmeet. Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant Snapmeet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content for the purpose of operating, marketing, and improving the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

Snapmeet operates solely as a platform facilitator. Snapmeet does not guarantee the quality, availability, legality, or accuracy of any event. Users acknowledge and agree that Snapmeet shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform or from disputes between organizers and attendees.

10. Termination

Snapmeet reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate any user account for violations of these Terms, misuse of the platform, or engagement in activity deemed harmful to Snapmeet or its users. Termination may occur with or without prior notice, and terminated accounts may not be reinstated.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to the use of Snapmeet shall preferably be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Alternatively, disputes may be brought before courts located in Bangalore, India, and users agree to submit to the jurisdiction of such courts for the purpose of resolving any disputes.

Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) governs the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal information by Snapmeet, an online platform facilitating event publication, registration, and brand promotion services. By accessing or using Snapmeet, you expressly consent to the practices described herein. Snapmeet reserves the right to amend or update this Policy at any time, with such modifications becoming effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any such amendments.

2. Scope of Policy

This Policy applies to all users of Snapmeet, including but not limited to event organizers, attendees, and individuals participating in promotional activities. It governs the processing of personal data, financial information, and usage data collected directly from users or through automated means.

3. Information Collected

Snapmeet collects and processes the following categories of information:

Location Data: When you allow Snapmeet to access your location, it is stored temporarily in your session and is used only to filter events relevant to you. Snapmeet does not store or track your location permanently.

Account Information: Name, email address, telephone number, and profile image for identity verification and platform access.

Event Data: Event details, descriptions, images, and promotional materials uploaded by organizers or participants.

Payment Information: Transactional data necessary to facilitate payments through Razorpay, a secure third-party payment gateway. Snapmeet does not store full credit card, banking, or UPI credentials.

Usage Data: IP address, device information, browser type, and behavioral analytics for the purpose of improving platform performance and user experience.

All information collected is limited to what is necessary for Snapmeet to operate, maintain, and improve its services.

4. Purpose of Data Processing

Snapmeet utilizes the information collected for the following purposes:

  • Administration and management of user accounts.
  • Facilitating event publishing and filtering events by user location.
  • Facilitation of event publishing, registration, and attendance tracking.
  • Secure processing of financial transactions through Razorpay.
  • Communication of notifications, updates, and platform announcements.
  • Execution of subscription-based brand promotions and marketing campaigns, where user consent is obtained.
  • Platform analytics and optimization of user experience, including fraud detection and security enforcement.

5. Payment Processing and Security

For the security and integrity of financial transactions, Snapmeet employs Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway, to process all payments. All sensitive payment information is encrypted in transit and is never stored on Snapmeet’s servers.

Platform Fees: A percentage of registration fees (3% for Indian events and 5% for international events) is collected to support Snapmeet’s operations, platform development, and growth.

Transaction Fees: A separate fee (2.36% for India, 3% for international) is collected exclusively to ensure accurate transfer of funds to event organizers. Snapmeet derives no revenue from transaction fees and is not liable for the allocation or settlement of these amounts.

By using Snapmeet, users acknowledge that Snapmeet acts solely as a facilitator and does not assume responsibility for payment disputes between attendees and organizers. Settlement of funds is made to organizers’ accounts in T+2 business days (excluding holidays) via Razorpay.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Snapmeet may disclose personal data under the following circumstances:

  • To payment processors and financial institutions strictly for transaction settlement.
  • To service providers engaged in operational, analytical, or marketing support.
  • To regulatory authorities or law enforcement agencies as required by applicable law, regulation, or legal process.

Snapmeet does not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Snapmeet employs cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to monitor platform usage, enhance functionality, and deliver tailored content. Users may manage their cookie preferences through browser settings, though certain features of the platform may be limited if cookies are disabled.

8. Data Retention

Snapmeet retains personal information for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Information no longer required will be securely deleted or anonymized.

9. User Rights

Users are entitled to exercise the following rights with respect to their personal data:

  • Right of Access: Obtain a copy of personal information held by Snapmeet.
  • Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to Erasure: Request deletion of personal information, subject to legal or contractual obligations.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: Revoke consent for marketing communications at any time.

Requests may be submitted via the official contact email provided on the platform.

10. Security Measures

Snapmeet implements technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Notwithstanding these measures, no system is completely secure, and Snapmeet cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized acts. Snapmeet uses industry-standard encryption for account credentials. Passwords are never visible to Snapmeet, and user accounts are protected with strict security safeguards.

11. Children’s Privacy

Snapmeet’s services are intended exclusively for individuals aged 18 years or older. Snapmeet does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. In the event that such data is inadvertently collected, Snapmeet will take prompt steps to delete it.

12. Policy Amendments

Snapmeet reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through platform notifications or email. Continued use of Snapmeet following any amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
